Yes! Neuromodulators such as Botox and Dysport are considered medications that need to be prescribed. As a Registered Nurse, I do not have the Licensing to prescribe medication. I work with a Medical Director who is a Nurse Practitioner, that I consult with virtually when creating a treatment plan for all new clients to be able to administer the medication. We do carry the product in our clinic, so you do not need to do anything in advance to have your cosmetic Botox treatment.
Yes! If you already have a vial of prescribed Botox, you can absolutely bring it in. I charge a standard rate of $120.00 as an injectors fee for this. Please reach out to me before booking in for a therapeutic Botox appointment to make sure I can accommodate your therapeutic treatment.
The actual medication is the exact same product. The difference is the reason why you’re getting the injections. Cosmetic injections can’t be covered by insurance and are used for purely aesthetic reasons such as anti-aging effects. Therapeutic injections can be covered by some insurance plans when prescribed by a licensed healthcare provider. Therapeutic injections can treat a variety of conditions such as jaw clenching/grinding, migraines and excessive sweating etc.
Neuromodulators such as Botox, last approximately 3-6 months. There is a lot of variation depending on the area treated as well and each individual’s metabolism of the Botox.
The activation of the results can be up to 2 weeks. This is why I encourage a 2 week follow up appointment so we can discuss your results together and assess if we need to adjust your treatment plan.
The neuromodulators are usually charged per unit because each treatment is tailored to the individual’s required dose. We all have a different anatomy and different treatment goals, which is why I would not feel comfortable providing an accurate quote until we’ve done a thorough consult. Please feel free to book a free consult with me! I won’t inject until we’ve had a conversation and know you’re comfortable with the price of your recommended treatment.
The Plexr can be used to treat a variety of skin concerns. The device ionizes air to generate a micro-plasma beam. When the plasma beam makes contact with the epidermis of the skin, it sublimates the upper layer of cells. This causes immediate contraction of the skin and reorganization of collagen fibres. This treatment can be considered soft surgery as it can be used to significantly reduce or remove wrinkles, sun damage, moles, and scars. It can tighten the skin to the point of being capable of treatments such as a lower face lift, eye lift, smoker lines removal, neck skin tightening and more!
In can be, that is why we use local anesthetic cream to numb 30-40 minutes prior to treating.
The downtime is minimal compared to traditional surgery, It is less invasive with less risk of infection. The costs are significantly less than with traditional surgery. The results are permanent but may require more than one treatment depending on the individual.
